Nenagh Toastmasters resumed on Tuesday 6th Sept. 2011 at the Abbey Court Hotel.  Our new President, Margaret Whelan McGuire full of enthusiasm, opened the meeting and warmly welcomed us all and our guest, Denis, reminding us of the Toastmasters Mission Statement.  Our Toastmaster for the evening was John Brooks who ably carried us through procedings.  Our topicsmaster was Bridget Hanly who treated us to a lively and interesting set of topics e.g "Revive the Jive".  Rose from Kilkenny described the sheer joy and happiness experienced by Kilkenny team supporters following their All Ireland win.  Next topic was "How can you cheer yourself up", "What is an ideal husband/wife".

In part two Rose Walsh delivered a very interesting and humorous stage 4 speech, entitled "Me, Me, Me". Sean Kelly delivered a stage 9 speech entitled "Embracing Resilience".

Our General Evaluator was Jim McGuire who thanked us all for a very pleasant and enjoyable meeting.  Why not come along to our next meeting.  (See meeting dates on leftside  of page).
