Nenagh Toastmasters Club every other Tuesday (See Meeting Dates) starting at 8.15 p.m. (sharp) How do we gain experience in Speaking, Listening and Leadership Skills? First we have the officers of the meeting introduced to us, followed by a ‘Table Topic’ Session. Table Topics are non-prepared speeches that are designed to help us speak ‘off the cuff’ on any subject. Guests are not asked to speak. After the break, we have prepared speeches, which in turn are evaluated. These are stage speeches from the Toastmasters International Communication and Leadership Manuals. The meeting lasts no longer than two hours and after the meeting we usually gather in the bar for some craic. See separate page for MEETING DATES
